Creating infoset in sap query - problem joining two tables

Hi experts,

 

I am trying to join two tables while creating infoset in sap query : AFIH (Pm order header data) join AUSP (table which stores values of characteristics)

The join suppose to be conducted like that : AFIH ~ EQUNR = AUSP ~ OBJEK .

 

Problem is AFIH ~ EQUNR is a CHAR 18 field while AUSP ~ OBJEK is CHAR 50 field . From this reason I get an error : "illegal join condition".

These two fields maybe have different field length but they actually store the same data in my case - So I need to compare them in the join.

 

How can solve this problem assuming I can only use Sap Query wizard. I cant not write an ABAP program report.

Is it possible to bypass this issue writing abap code inside Infoset screen  ? how is it done ?

I have three groups which are first three columns in the image and in that i marked in red color circle. if you see the inner circle the line are not properly align to other line(s). i tried in many ways but i couldn't sort out this issue.

Rework - Production Order Settlement - Ref. to Order Type

Dear All

Greetings of the day!

 

Wwe need help.

 

While creation Rework Orders without Material Code using CO07, I am getting "Maintain Settlement Rule".

We need to fix up this issue - We want to fix this value with reference to Order Type so that Production Order creation must not ask for this everythime.

 

How to settle on this?

Please guide.

dears,

i want to active alternative material method on subcontracting PO,"alt group method let to the 1st material(new material) to buy it and also at the same time let the 2nd material (old material) to issue from it  ,according to priority and usage probability " but the system consider subcontracting as PO so it will not consider the issue from the material on subcontracting vendor,

0CO_PC_ACT_07 extracting WBS_ELEMT with zeroes after

Hi!

 

I'm trying to extract data from 0CO_PC_ACT_07 and looks like it is not using internal number or external number.

 

In the ECC side I have for example WBS_ELEMT = "PJ-0000006-04-06-01". After extraction it looks like this: "PJ000000604060100". The "-" went out and now it has two zeroes after WBS_ELEMT. I've tried conversion exits like CONVERSION_EXIT_WBSEL_OUTPUT  or CONVERSION_EXIT_ABPSP_OUTPUT and no deal.

 

It is giving me a big headache to cross this information with any other WBS_ELEMT from other extractors like 2LIS_03_BF. Please help!

Is there an option to enter Voluntary Tax in SAP?

Hi,

 

We have employees who had paid their tax on free shares through cheque to the company and needs to be accounted in the tax deducted so far.

What is the wage-type that can be used to update the tax deducted so far, by including the voluntary tax received from employees.

 

This wage type should not deduct additional tax from the employee, but only account what he has paid outside the system (SAP).

Hi Experts,

 

I have a query that , here in the WO (IW32) we have option for attaching documents like word files,JPEG files etc to WO header and operations.

 

In my case i want to validate the docs based on my business scenario.

 

I cannot use the STD FM like BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETOBJECTDOCS,BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETLIST2 to get the details because this will get the details of the WO documents which is already saved.

 

Now my requirement at WO Save i need to perform the document check.

 

So i need an Exit/BADI/point at WO at SAVE where i can have this document details like document type (Either Word file/JPEG file Etc) .

 

 

Please post your ideas

How to change CRM WEB UI work center group title

Hi

 

i'm trying to change the work center group title in CRM 7.0 (e.g. "Interaction log" instead of "Dealer visit/Customer vist/Interaction log report/ sales report".

 

Has somebody ideas how to change it.

Original Invoice section blank in J1IJ

Hi Experts

 

I have a depot sales scenario. We follow:

At Supplying Plant:

ME21N ---> VL10B ---> VL02N ---> VF01 (F8) ---> J1IIN...

 

At Receiving Plant:

 

MIGO ---> J1IG.  VA01 ---> VL01N ---> J1IJ ---> VF01.

 

The issue is when i do J1IJ, the original invoice section remains blank and all the exicise invoice show only the Additional Duty selection subscreen. Even though I havent done J1IGA. Rest of the values are flowing alright.

 

I am unable to understand where am i missing the config??? Please peruse the attached screenshot of J1IJ.

Authorisation change

Hello All,

 

In our system one of the job/Process chain steps regularly get failed. This is due to Users working in change mode in planning book ( user lock entry).

 

To avoid this we would like to have a functionality where in before the specific job start, we can change the authorization of group of users from change mode to Display mode.

 

And after the completion of the job again we would like to change the user authorizations from Display to Change mode.

 

Please let me know how we can achieve this? or any other suggestions on the same?

Unable to see universe folder in Webi

Hello,

We have two universes that have the exact same name.  One is for development and one is for production.  We do not want to change the name of the universe so the only way a user can tell which one is which is by the version number.  I am able to see what folder each of these universes are sitting in because I've granted myself Administrator access to my ID.

 

What security setting am I missing to allower others to see what folder the universe is sitting in without giving them Administrator rights?

Hierarchy maintained in RSA1 but not appearing in BEX

Dear All,

Im a new BW user. I am facing an issue regarding hierarchy. I made a new node level and added another new node level to it, and then added new distributor/customer to it. The issue is that Im not being able to see the 3 new nodes levels in BEX Analyzer.  I have tried to find a few links in SDN regarding this issue like http://scn.sap.com/thread/3322135, but it has no exact link to my issue.

Additonal properties missing

Hi

 

 

Upgraded the version 1.2 to 1.3 design studio, everything is fine except the Additional properties is missing.

 

Only additional properties tab is there inside it empty..

 

Any one can help on this

Upgrade or new installation from 1.00.33 to 1.00.83

Dear Experts,

 

I have some questions about upgrading our HANA.

We are currently running a testenvironment with SAP HANA on 1.00.33 and we want to upgrade this Version to 1.00.83

Can we perform an "UPGRADE" or do we Need to perform a new Installation?

 

Same question for our porductive environmet - in prod we have 1.00.72 and we want to upgrade to 1.00.83 - can we Upgrade, or do we have to do a fresh install?

 

can you experts Point me to any clear PAM/Upgrade guides/ionstructions, or - even better - did you perform it already yourself and have some experience to sahre with me?

Multiple solutions for a single system in Solman

Dear Team,

 

We have found that there are multiple "solutions" getting assigned to a particular Logical system. (one that I have created and another is "SAP Solution")

 

I manually deleted the logical system assignment from solution "SAP solution"; but once again it came back there.

 

Any reason why it is coming back again and again. Any way to eliminate it permanently ??

Can I Trigger an Alert in Alert Configuration other than Report RSALERTTEST ?

Hi,

 

There has been an issue in alert configuration where i cannot populate container variables/elements used in short & long text tab into the email

For this

 

I checked with alert configuration guide where all the steps /measures were followed/taken exactly as the same way mentioned in the guide

I trigger alert using report RSALERTTEST but i can't get container variables filled, let's say RSALERTTEST is only for testing whether we are able trigger an alert /not ? because Gaurav Ranjan in scn,sap.com posted that container variables are not filled and are sent empty when we trigger alerts using RSALERTTEST.

Are there any alernatives to trigger an alert as well as get the container variables filled/populated?

Are there any places to look for where discussion will have right justification?

 

I want to test my alert and i want container variables used in short & long text tab to be get populated can any 1 help me out

How to upgrade BO and Tomcat present on different servers

Hi Techies,

 

 

We have a environment with below details,

 

Application servers (Where our BO installation sits) - We have clustered environment with 3 nodes.

 

Web Servers (Where our Tomcat sits) - We have clustered environment with2 nodes.

 

We are planning for BO upgrade to SP7.1. Please help me on help on below queries,

1. How can we update tomcat which is sitting on other servers?

2. Do we need to take any backup files before upgrade activity?

3. Any configuration files need to update after upgrade?

3. How can the tomcat can interact with BO sitting on other servers?
