update processes are alwyas be hanging

Dears,

 

1. In T-code SM12 that I checked the Maximum number of Lock Entries is 18218 and Maximum Fill level is also 18218, the parameter "enque/table_size" is defualt value 32768, I think it's too small and it maybe cause the update processes are all hanging,
I want to adjust it more bigger, could you please give me a suggesting value ?

 

2. We increased two Dialog Instance on July and the issue(update work processes are always be hanging) happened from Augest 1st, I checked the DB parameter 'sessions' value is 2000 and 'processes' value is 1000, do we need to increase the value ?

BI 4 - Scheduled Reports Audit

I'm working with SAP business Objects 4.0

Database type: Oracle


 

Requirement: Insert a row in a database table, every time a scheduled report runs successfully/unsuccessfully.


 

 

I want to store daily updates/status of reports that ran, in a db table.

 

I have explored Query Builder & Audit universe options with not much luck.

Through Query Builder, even if we get this info somehow, it's hard to export it into db.

Through Audit universe: I'm not able to see all the information through the available objects. I cannot use the canned reports (crystal format) because it doesn't work with oracle database.

 

If anyone can give any direction to this, I will greatly appreciate.

LEADS NOT GETTING CREATED USING EXTERNAL LIST MANAGEMENT (ELM)

Hi Folks,

 

We are trying to create leads via ELM.

When ELM is executed records are getting uploaded,BP's are created.But leads are not getting created.

 

Pls find attachments for mapping format attached to ELM.

 

Assignment block Process steps is as shown below:

 

We tried n number of times to create leads but its not happening.

Pls suggest how to resolve the same.

 

Any help is highly appreciated.

How to trigger a process chain running later

Hi Expert,

 

I got a requirement which is user want to trigger a process chain by a button. And after they push the button, the process chain won't run immediately. But will run on Saturday morning of that week.

 

I know how to use excel workbook button to call a process chain run, but that will make the process chain run immediately. Is that possible they push the button and then the process chain run later?

Hi all,

 

I'm deleting a package that doesn't need any more and faced a problem.

 

I deleted all subcomponents in the pacakge and try to release them and got the message below.

I tiried the procedure 1(SE01) but it didn't work.

Diagnosis

 

Objects in package ZPJH cannot be edited in transportable Workbench requests
in the current system GSD. The transport routes are configured such that objects
from package ZPJH can only be edited in local Workbench requests.

 

System Response

 

The function terminates.

 

Procedure

 

You have the following options:

 


  • If you want to transport objects in package ZPJH into the target GSQ once
    only, without changing the configuration of the transport routes, then create a
    transport of copies in the extended view of the Transport Organizer (Transaction
    SE01). Go to the request
    overview and choose Request/task -> Object list ->
    Include objects to include your objects in this transport of
    copies.

 


  • If you would like objects in package ZPJH to be transported generally into
    the target system GSQ, contact your transport administrator. In this case, the
    configuration of the transport routes must be corrected in the Transport
    Management System (TMS). For details, see the documentation on the Transport
    Management System.

Please help me if you know the way to solve this problem.

In gate method we added logic for populating the values in Z extensible field but values not coming in  Z fields value of ppf action by crmd_order_read Function module.

Redistributable components of crystal report 11 and Crystal Report 2013

Currently we are facing a peculiar problem where we are having a report with 5 tables and connected using the default crystal report db connectivity.

The report was created in a very old version of crystal report 8.5 and we have been migrating the same to latest versions.

When i execute the report from my Application using crystal report 11 run-time components installed it works perfectly (5 Secs). In this we were using the viewer ole control embedded in our application.

But when the same report is opened up from the application using the crystal report 2013 run-time components there is performance lag of 15 Secs every time using the viewer as separate control using C# .net framework 4.0. 

Also Installing crystal report 11 run-time and then installing crystal report 2013 run-time resolves the issue.

Can someone let me know if we are missing something.

Add new missing segment to existing failed idocs

Hello Experts

 

1000's of idocs have failed due to missing child segment. i can add the missing child segment & data in WE19 & reprocess the newly created idoc(copy of old) which works as expected, but i have to do this one idoc at a time.

 

Question: is there a way, i can do this across multiple idocs at once, like mass processing?

Load files in to DIRS when in Released status

Hi experts,

 

My client is using DMS from quiet some time. Recently due to server failure many files were not uploaded in to DIRS but DIRS were released.

 

Now he wants to do this excerise of loading the missed files in to the DIRs this is only for few of them hence we deicded to do to manully changing the configs. We have standard configs but i am not able achieve it.

 

I tried removin RE flag for the RE status, I tried setting the status of RE from locked to no status. I removed "Complete for ECM" also but anything i do the button to uplaod the document is still greyed out.

 

I checked many existing threads but was not able to get proper answer.

Any suggestions here please would be of great help

        I have a requirement where i need to add a coloumn to a standard table in FPM application.I am able to add the field to the context but i would like to know what code we need to write to display the data.

PO Net price different to Amount in LC in GR

Hi,

 

I have a case where the Net price on the PO is $1050/1 EA.

This PO has been receipted on the same day as when the PO was raised.

 

Wile GR(101), the Amount in LC shows as $834.30/1 EA.

 

The accounting entries are as below:

I need to understand the reason for price difference here.

The MAP Of this material is $834.30 and the total stock now is -1.

Working with Adobe Live cycle Designer and configuring ADS on AS Java 7.3 server

Hi Experts,

 

 

I have a requirement to work on Adobe Interactive forms in 7.3 environment, so I have installed AS Java 7.3 server along with ADS.

 

And for additional configuration I have followed the below standard SAP help document as below

and installed Adobe LiveCycle Designer 9.0 installation (SAP Note 1522483) on the laptop to develop interactive forms using NWDS.

 

Can you please let me know if there is any additional configuration  needed to perform before I start the development as I'm seeing that there is

AS ABAP system also and configuration using SM59 and SICF etc.. (Adobe Document Services Configuration Guide)

 

We are just developing Adobe forms to generate PDF's and we are not interacting any ECC/SRM/CRM systems. All back-end data we are getting is from Terra Data and Oracle.

 

Appreciate if you could advice on further steps.

Reg: Set User Status to Work Complete(WKCP) once all the operations in it are finally confirmed

Hi Experts,

 

I have a requirement that need to set automatically the User Status to Work Complete(WKCP) once all the operations in it are finally confirmed.

 

For for that i have used the BO BUS2007 which will trigger when all the operations are finally confirmed and will set the WO system status to CNF.

 

So what i did is i have created a ZFM to set the user status to Work Complete(WKCP), and i have linked the ZFM in SWE2 so that when ever the event FINCONFIRMED of the BO BUS2007  gets triggered my ZFM will trigger and will set the status.This works fine.

 

Now the user wants a POPUP screen asking for the Confirmation whether to set the user status or not.

 

So i have used the FM POPUP_TO_CONFIRM to achieve this but getting an error below

 

Screen output without connection to user.

 

And i am not getting any popup.

 

So how can i achieve this popup screen functionality.

Oracle Data Guard Redo Log Status Apply Problem on Primary Server and Standby Server are not the same

Hi,

 

When I'm trying to install and configured oracle data guard using oracle ver 10.2.0.4 using LAN (Local Area Network) all is running well and no problem found.When I'm trying to install and configured oracle data guard on the same server ( I was scrapping the windows 2008 installation and using windows 2008 clean installation) using oracle ver 11.2.0.3 using LAN, redo log is succesfull transfered from primary server to standby server and redo log status for standby server if viewing on standby server is 'applied' but redo log status for standby server if viewing from primary server is 'not applied' and resolvable gap is detected on primary server. when i'm try to query gap using sql command from both server (primary and standby), the result look like this :

 

SQL> SELECT THREAD#, LOW_SEQUENCE#, HIGH_SEQUENCE# FROM V$ARCHIVE_GAP;

 

no rows selected

 

when i'm trying to stop oracle service on primary server and then start the oracle service again on primary server, redo log status for standby server if viewing from primary server is changed from 'not applied' to 'applied' and resolvable gap is still detected on primary server.

 

what's wrong with this ?it's an oracle 11.2.0.3 bug ?how to resolve that ?

 

does somebody has the same problem like that ?

 

My Server Configuration is :

 

SAP ECC 6.0

Oracle 11.2.0.3

Windows 2008 Server

Memory 64 GB

I am running ECC6 EHP7 on windows 2008 / SQL. I am looking to rename SID and hostname without system copy method. I know we can do either manual process or using sapinst.

 

Please let me know if anyone has the steps and timing for how long it will take.
