i have a datasource(flat file) which is to load the hierarches and the data source has several infopackages,when i tried to chage the infopackege its showing an error message as below.That the infopackage type is H and the data source type is M either delete the IP or change the DS.

i checked for the below sollution but it doest work.

and i got the feedback that the data source is broken.I have some infopackages under thius data sourcewhen i tried to maintain them its not showing the infopackage itself.

 

Please suggest me some thing.

In the next logical step within our environment a uninstallation of the SAP GUI gets started:

After that the installation of the SAP GUI gets started again with:

Every first installation of SAP GUI 7.30 PL8 is affected. This is a cross-platform issue (Windows 7 and Windows 8.1). If there was our older package version (SAP GUI 7.30 PL4) installed, the installation of SAP GUI 7.30 PL8 gets done without problems.

Every new client with the SAP GUI 7.30 PL8 assigned or the re-installation of it, and every first installation of the package on a client without SAP GUI leads to the mentioned issue - package gets installed with the mentioned error, afterwards the uninstallation gets started by our environment and finally the installation gets done with the second try. This is not a practicable method for our support staff.

 

Are there any hints how to resolve this issue. (A upgrade to the newest patch level of SAP GUI is not a practicable solution)

How to upgrade the Identity Centre from IDM 7.2 SP7 to SP8

Hi all,

 

I am currently working on SAP IDM 7.2 on NW 7.31.

 

The new task is to upgrade the SAP Identity center from version 7.20 SP7 to SP8 in sandbox system only.

 

 

The current version level which i found from Identity centre are

 

PRD -- Version 7.20.8  2014-02-28 720_REL

DEV -- Version 7.20.8  2014-02-28 720_REL

SBX -- Version 7.20.7  2013-06-06 720_REL

 

 

And when i login in to UI under  component information,  IDMFEDERATION component in Sandbox system is still running in 1000.7.2.7.0.20130108102054

Whereas same component patch level in Dev and Prod is 1000.7.2.8.0.20130508095747.

 

Other two below mentioned IDM components are already upgraded to sp8 in sandbox systems.

 

IDMIC                        ( 1000.7.21.8.3.20140206161124)

IDMPORTALCONT   ( 1000.7.21.8.0.20130516153851)

 

And all other UI components are running in SP7 only.

 

I couldn't find any doc which explains about the SP upgrade from 7 to 8

All I could find is the fresh installation of Identity center components.

 

Can any one please let em know how to proceed on this.

ABAP E Mail Issue

I have written a code to trigger E Mail from SAP using Function Module  SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1. Users used to receive emails properly with the email content in E Mail Body as per the requirement. But now I have observed with the same function module the content of the email is going to users as an attachment with .RAW file. Below is the function module I have used.

NW 7.4 Portal - Log Viewer for Developers

We just recently upgraded our NW 7.01 portal to NW 7.4 and are trying to become antiquated with the many changes involved with this upgrade.

 

One of the first things we've encountered is that the log viewer has moved under the NWA.

Our problem is giving our developers access to a log viewer now that it's been moved. Before we were just able to copy the log viewer iView from under sys admin>support>etc and move it to a role that all the developers have access to. This isn't possible as far as I can see in 7.4.

 

I've found this thread: Where has Log Viewer gone in SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.3?

 

I know how to get to <portal>/nwa/logs and also about the Troubleshooting Wizard at  <portal>/tshw, but from what I can tell (and I have yet to find any real concrete information) is that in both the /nwa and /tshw require the Administrator role to access them...or at least to be able to use them; I notice I can access the tshw with a our developer permissions but it just throws errors.

 

Is there a way to give people who only have developer permissions on the portal (mainly Content Administration and ability to deploy from NWDS to the portal) access to the log viewer, or some sort of log viewer??

 

Is giving them access to the file system at the operating system the only other way to do this?

SAP Work Item from SAP Business Work Place

Hi Experts,

 

We are on EHP 7 and using NWBC. As a Manager role, it's able to approve or reject Leave Request from Work Overview on NWBC but when we execute the same through SAP Business Workplace, it gives error as follows:

 

The request cannot be started from the Business Workplace

Message no. HRTIM_ABS_REQ066

 

Any suggestion to resolve this issue? It's working fine on NWBC Work Overview. We have also checked required authorizations.

How to driver program for printing different smartforms based on Company codes

Hi

 

I am working on a requirement for Invoice smartform(vf03).

 

Question :

 

I have 3 different smartform formats for 3 company codes.

 

When I hit vf03-> billing doc no - > issue output -> it is picking only one smartform linked to that output type(RD00)

 

I want to use same output type but with 3 different smartforms , how to assign 3 different samrtforms in NACE transaction or I should go for some Zreport (driver report) ???

SMSServer: CryptDecryptMessage failed, GLE=-2146881269

Hi, I receive an error while initializing SMSServer. Can someone please instruct me what can be wrong? SMSServer module is set to be ran within VU_CORE and it seems to be running fine but I cannot see it tries to sample message queue. SMS gateway acts like a fake and always returns HTTP OK 200.

Transfer an header value to all the lines in mapping

Hi expert,

maybe is a simple question, but I don't remember how to do that.

In a receiver scenario in my input mapping I have:

header (0..1)

- header field1

- header field2

- header field3

- lines (0...unbounded)

--- line field1

--- line field2

....

 

In output mapping I want to transfer header field2 value into line field2 value (same value for all the lines).

But if I try with graphic mapping only the value of the first line get populated, and the value of other lines is null.

What I have to do to populate the field for all lines?

On the Portal for Travel Management , I want to hide the tick Box for Cash

On the portal for Trip Advances there is a blank check box for cash advances (See attached file).  I need to hide this field from view of the users - not only grey it out. It must be completely removed from the view in the portal.   Please help.  Pieter

Issue with Bonus depreciation -wrong calculation

Dear Experts

 

 

I am facing issue with Bonus depreciation
config.

1. Bonus depreciation for the next Year/2015 it is calculating as below It should calculate only for 2014 -50%.

2. Ordinery depreciation for Area 10 and 11(tax depreciation) is calculating on APC values instead of net book value after deducting the bonus depreciation.

 

 

My client had implemented SAP in Dec 2012. System is calculating the bonus depreciation wrongly.   Other
depreciation Keys are working fine but only Bonus depreciation is having problem as mentioned.

 

 

Requirement is_ Bonus depreciation has to be calculated on APC value-50% and Ordinary Depreciation is as per the ACRS/MACRS
(5, 7 years %) After deducting the Bonus depre.

 

 

I followed the best practice based on the Note.  1148489. tried but not working as mentioned.

 

 

  • Base Method
  • Multi level method and
  • Depreciation key

Bonus depreciation for the 2nd
Year/2015 it is calculating as mentioned
below -It should calculate only for 2014 -50%.

 

 

Please help me where I am missing.

list of scheduled webi reports that are taking long time to finish and that report is not used by the users

Hi Experts,

 

I am sorry, if i am posting the query in wrong place.

 

I am looking for List of scheduled webi reports on daily basis, that are taking long time to complete and that is report is not being used on daily.

 

Can you please advise, how can i find this information in either in CMC or in Query Builder.

Logs in /work directory outdated.

Hi all.

 

I´m facing a curious case.

The logs in /usr/sap/<sid>/DVEBMGS00/work are outdated.

 

Only available file is updating.

 

In AL11, logs are outdated too,

 

In ST11, logs is ok, updated at current date/time.

 

To check if there is log files in another directory, i run a find in root (/), searching for dev_w0 file, and do not find any other file.

(find ./ -name dev_w0, in / directory)

 

Landscape:

 

SAP ECC 606, Suse Linux + Sybase.

DEV System.

 

Any hint?

Manifesto do Destinatário - NF's não aparecem no monitor de List and Download

Olá Pessoal,

 

Boa tarde,

 

Configurei os cenário de manifesto do destinatário no GRC/PI, e analisando pelas mensagens esta tudo OK, inclusive a operação de confirmação foi registrada na SEFAZ, porém no monitor de NF-e List and Download as notas não aparecem, alguém ja passou por isso? sabe o que pode ser?

 

Segue o processo detalhado:

 

1) O JOB /XNFE/COLLECT_DOCUMENTS rodou com sucesso:

2) Na SXI_MONITOR consigo ver que o processamento tanto da consulta da lista de Nf-e / Operação de confirmação( Que esta configurada no automatico no SIGNAUTH) foram executados com sucesso.

3) Quando entro no monitor de List & Download, consultando apenas pela data, ou até mesmo pela chave da Nota não me retorna nada.

ACFUPDOWNLOAD - wrong server ?

Hi Everyone,

 

I have difficulties to get the demo application "wd_test_appl_acfupdown" working.

 

If i am trying to upload/download a file to the Kpro server, I always get the error message 223 - wrong server.

The Kpro server is ok. I have checked with report: RSCMST.

The whitelist should be ok and the certificates are located under: %APPDATA%\SAP

Java is updated to the latest version.


If I paste the url http://xxxxxx:1090/Contentserver/ContentServer.dll?create&pVersion........

manually in the browser, the folder and file is created on the content server, but the file is empty.

 

WD_TEST_APPL_ACFEXECUTE is running fine.

 

I have no idea anymore, what could be wrong. Maybe anybody knows the reason for "wrong server"?

SSF signature using SHA1 and digtal certificate

Hello

 

May assist me I have a requirement that I sign data in an internal table using a certificate  and then append the detached signature to a file which is to be sent to the bank. I have managed to import the certificate and i am signing using ssf_krn_sign, however the bank says the digital signature being produced is too long, its supposed to be 128 characters, we are using SHA1 algorithm BTW.

Keeping Section Together

I have an order form that prints a description, comments then a subreport in my Group Footer.

 

Is there a way to keep the item description and subreport together, basically to place info on the next page begining with my item number:

 

I would like to keep GH2a to GF2 together.
