In debug mode, there is one good use function, diff, which is used to compare two internal table. Now I want to know how does this function go, I want to see it's code. I try to use the shortcut to debug, but it didn't work.

We have recently patched our SAP BI 4.0 platform from SP6 to SP8. Since then we have noticed that old sessions are not being released and they continued to appear in the sessions section (we noticed it because this was causing that number of connections exceeded our concurrent limit license which makes connection to be refused). Sessions remains for days/weeks and can only be removed by restarting SIA or killing manually using SDK (see note 18354664).
In our installation we have applied all steps commonly described in TN to be applied to avoid this kind of issue (we were applying there since initial 4.0 SP4 deployment)
- 1668750 - Sessions not being released in SAP Business Intelligence Platform 4.0
- 1837122 - How to increase session timeout value for BI Launchpad and CMC in BI 4.0
but for some reason, after installing SP8 sessions remains in the CMC even applying these steps.
After a bit of search I have noticed that several people was claiming to suffer similar situations using SAP BI 4.0 with previous SP (see thread Old/Dead Sessions does not fall down on Business Objcets XI 4) but as far as I know this was not our case.
We have also tried to implement the session cleanup mentioned in several threads (as the previuos one) detailed at following TN
1204040 - How to kill extra sessions without restarting the server
but despite that some people claim to have used it on BI 4.0 error retrieved when starting tomacat after adding changes in web.xml file (see below) makes me thing that this class does not longer exists in SAP BI 4.0

I have a piechart in my dashboard and currently data label shows description and values For example "cost of goods sold (60%)".My client has requested that they want only the values e.g 60% to show and not the description.
I have checked the property and it seems like there is no standard way. Are there other ways to meet my requirement.

I have created a custom adapter module using NWDS to read excel file in SAP PI 7.3.1 SP09 Dual Stack and deployed it on server.
I am getting the following error.
Error: com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions720.NameNotFoundException: Path to object does not exist. First missing component is [XLModule_EAR] the whole lookup name is [localEJBS/sap.com/XLModule_EAR/XLModule]
Please tell me the name of parameters and its sequence to be maintained in sender file communication channel to read excel file in sap pi.

I have created a custom field(XXX) on ERP_H/HeaderDetail view.
I have added the above field(XXX) to VBAK and communication structures(TDS_HEAD_COMV, TDS_HEAD_COMR and TDS_HEAD_COMC).
I have provided necessary implementations for BADI_LORD_DO_PAI.
I have provided necessary implementations for BADI_LORD_GET_INPUT_MODE.
Valid entry has been maintained in LORD_MAPPING table for the custom field(XXX).
With the above process I am able to save data in ECC and retrieve it on to CRM Web UI perfectly.
A Custom database table(ZABC) contains the possible values that can be given to the above custom field(XXX).
I see a provision in LORD_MAPPING table to provide Search help for a particular field. I have tried Search help Types SH and FV, but I am not able to show any value help for field(XXX) on CRM Web UI. Can you please help me resolve this issue?

Vendor : Customer number, Vat Reg Number, Indicator: Clearing between customer and vendor, Vendor RMA Number Required,Tax Number 2,

Hi everyone,
I experienced many times this type of error starting a SAP Lumira Document (version is 1.17, but even trying with the new version 1.19, right after the installation):
"An Error Occured: Data Source creation failed .The engine failed to start before timeout. Restart the application. (HDB 10005)".
I've already found (also in this community) some solutions, but they seems to me like temporary fixing, because sometimes I have to deal with this problem again. Can someone please explain me why this problem happens, and if a definitive fixing is in the works?

We have a unique pricing and invoicing requirement. We price the customer as a 'set' - e.g. $100 for one set to a customer that will include and agreed set price for 1 big box with 5 small boxes. The price of the such set would be based on 1+5 (varies customer by customer depending on it's composition). If the customer wants 6 small boxes then we price it as $5/extra box. - so a 'set' of 1 big and 6 small would be 100 + 5 (1 extra small box) = 105. This can be achieved by scales in pricing for the small box (1st 5 are free and every thereafter, $5/box).
However, Business wants to print on the invoice as :
Material Quantity Price Value
Set 100
Small box 1 5 5
Total 105
In the order set up, we have big box = 1, small box = 6 so that is what prints on the invoice. so the requirements is really to negotiated print the price of the set plus the incremental items only...
Can anyone please give me any idea how to achieve this? Or even any better way of pricing it that makes printing on the invoice simpler rather than looping into the condition records to find that 'extra' quantity of 1 to print it?

I am using ECC 6 and Ehp 7. There i required one custom report which shows Variance budget and variance %.
I copied the standard report painter 4FBUDCON and created the Zreport named "ZBUDG2".
Std.Report gives you the following fields
Consumable Budget Consumed Budget Available Amount Current Budget Commitment/Actuals
How ever, we added two more columns such as
a) Varaince budget = Consumable budget - consumed budget and (by using with formula)
b) Variance % = Varaince budget(a)/Consumble budget*100 (by using with formula)
After defining the above formulas i saved and executed the report. But report is not showing the a&b columns.
Please help me on this.

If status is DLV means whether that order has to be closed?
If status is SETC- whether it means order settlement has done?
If status is PDLV- whether it indicates order closing can not be done?
Once the order settlement has done whether in production order cost balance will became zero or it will show some values?

Ptax is not deducted only for one employee, his 588 Infotype, sub group is enabled for ptax deductions. He belongs to Maharashtra state and till last month there is a Ptax deduction in the payroll process.
When I checked the payroll log the "INPTAX" PCR is calculating the basis amount as 4913.44-. please find the attached screenshot.
